The Druid was traditionally an Elven Discipline and not practised by any other race however the Elven Elders under the advice of Elder Celandie saw fit to accept followers of the Discipline from outside the Elven clans when their own followers dwindled during the many battles of the early settlements. In a move to preserve their ways, the liberal thinking of the Elders inadvertently caused a near catastrophy among the Druidic disciples and a division in the ranks threatened to destroy the very foundation of the Elven cultures. Since the turn of events that was known as the Mantle of Bells, the Elven Elders have stipulated many more restrictions on the acceptance of Disciples. Since the events of the Mantle of Bells, many disciples have since been accepted from both the Settling and the indigenous races so long as they proved their loyalty and reasoning prior.

Due to Primal Magic, Druids benefit mostly from Wisdom and to a lesser extent, Intellect.
